THE ABRINTER

Abrinter, a non-profit civil association, was created on November 11, 2011, and legally constituted on January 6, 2012, as registered in the 1st Registration of Titles and Documents and Legal Entities of Fortaleza, State of Ceará ( Pergentino Maia Branch), due to the need to establish, in an orderly manner, a monitoring of the flow of investments installed or to be installed in the State of Ceará and Brazil in the development of technologies aimed at the use of renewable resources in the most different forms of energy capture. Its creation, however, has been planned for about 03 (three) years, when we began to feel the great promotion of companies linked to this area, migrating to the State and Brazil. Through the results of research and consultation with the private initiative and the government, we feel convinced of the need for its creation.

The studies carried out and the seriousness of the intended purposes served as a solid basis for launching the seed of this International Association, which aims, among other perspectives, to coordinate solid waste disposal activities as a correct way to treat the environment in strict compliance with our patronage, through guidelines to be followed by companies that want to provide services to governments in a sustainable and environmentally correct manner.

Like all Associations, ABRINTER has a board of founders and affiliates, which can be attended by any and all entities, such as: private, national, foreign or mixed companies, third sector, classes, etc. ABRINTER is open to any nationality and any purpose that is closely related to sustainable development and protection of the environment, notably aimed at the defense of renewable resources and energy use.

The role of ABRINTER in the solid waste sector from the formation of municipal consortia is primarily to help and guide any company or investor that wants to participate as a partner or to be hired by municipal consortia, as well as to seek partnerships with leading entities in environmental awareness, so that these consortia as public entities, directly and indirectly, also fulfill their environmental commitment of non-aggression to the environment. ABRINTER will guarantee through a certification commitment that all companies that qualify together to consortia, in our area of coverage, promote in the performance of their activities, sustainable growth, seeking a better quality of life and preservation of natural resources.

The capture of investments, whether domestic or foreign, as our secondary objective, is shown as quite promising, mainly due to the current situation of world economic crisis. Brazil is a barn for good investments and a market of great potential, thanks to its political stability and growth rates. However, our main objective is to ensure the performance of these investors in a highly sustainable way.

We believe that in doing so, the resources that will come, whether national or foreign, will come from partners, not only with a duty to make a profit on their investments, but to promote these growth rates in a sustainable way. It is impressive the futuristic vision of the rulers of the State of Ceará, where ABRINTER was born. Its pioneering in relation to the other Brazilian states is visible in terms of consortium regionalization as a form of economy of scale for correct waste disposal and tailings disposal. In addition we must emphasize the search for growth, in an orderly and sustainable way, and not at any cost, when it supports the search for technologies to take advantage of the resources and potentials of the State.

In the area of waste, the state government acts as a partner of mayors, not only stimulating consortium formation, but also seeking and passing on resources to environmentally adequate solutions. Undoubtedly, this initiative contributes greatly to the interest of investors in the State of Ceará to operate in the area of waste, since the Consortia legally guarantee that the contracts or partnerships signed will be honored in addition to bringing together the raw material (waste and tailings) in quantities in such a way as to justify an investment.

We are acting with greater emphasis in the State of Ceará due to the great demand of investors thanks to the legal certainty of the Consortium model. Soon we hope to be able to help the other States and Municipalities to have the best technologies, in an orderly manner aiming at a sustainable and environmentally correct growth.
